So you've created something that you want to share with the rest of
the CU Amiga readers? All submissions from readers are welcome, but
please read this file completely before sending anything as it
contains very important information.
All submissions MUST be accompanied by a readme file, in addition to
any other documentation. This file MUST include the following
information:
If your are the author of the submission, then state your name,
address, permission to include it on the CU Amiga CD and a statement
that you hold copyright for the enclosed files.
If you are not the author, then give your name and address plus the
author's name and contact info (either email, phone or snail address).
Also state that this is for distribution on the CU Amiga CD and that
you are uploading with the knowledge and permission of the author.
Sorry for the hassle, but we have had work submitted that was done
without the consent of the authors, who were naturally upset that we
included their work without asking.
Please include any other relevant information in the readme, such as
any libraries that must be present on the CD, if you are not including
them. This is not the place for general documentation, that should be
in the archive, but for anything that may help us to install it to run
from the CD.
Please don't use absolute paths for icon default tools etc. While
MyDrive:Path/to/utilities/IconX may work on your system, it certainly
won't work on the CD. If the default tools are standard stuff, like
IconX, then there's no problem with giving no path. If the tools are
specials, then include them in the archive.
You can send your submissions on DD or HD floppy disks, Zip cartridges
or Syquest EZ cartridges. If you are sending Zip or EZ disks, make
sure you give us the address to return them to.
Please do not send self-booting disks. In order to work from the CD,
your program or whatever must work when started from a standard
Workbench or shell.
Please post your work to

If you have Internet access, then you can upload the files by ftp. In
this case they should be in a single archive, in either lha, lzx or
tgz format (not dms), together with a separate readme file. Such as
MyCoolGfx.lha and MyCoolGfx.readme
For security reasons, you can't upload from an anonymous login. Log in
with the username of "cucd" and password of "reader". You can then
upload your files to the submissions directory.
